Little throwback…

Soon there is a new edition of Miss Beskidów and Miss Poland.

We decided to share a little throwback from 3 years ago, just before the phenomenal Madzia was crowned MISS POLAND 2019.

Magdalena Kasiborska, was first  Miss Beskidów and later was crowned MISS POLAND 2019,a year later Ania Jaromin, who also won Miss Beskidów also won and is the current MISS POLAND 2020,

Each Gala is a special show

We try to make each Gala an exciting and unforgettable spectacle on a variety of topics: country, cabaret, musical, space, etc. On the day of the final gala we meet with the participants in the morning and have the general rehearsal, after which we invite  them to a meal together. After that we have some time to relaks before the finale.. During this time, the finalists are prepared by professional hairdressers, make-up artist and stylists. The Final Gala ends with a meeting of participants and organizers for the afterparty.

Casting Calls to Miss Beskidów

During castings, the final group is selected. The jury consists of successful finalists from earlier years, organizers and partners. With selected finalists, a very intense period of preparation for the grand final of the Competition begins. During this time, classes are held with a choreographer who prepares all dance and show presentations. We teach self-presentation, interpersonal communication. Photo sessions, classes with stylists, make-up artists and many more. This is generally done during grouping. There are organized trips, integration classes during which everyone has the opportunity to get to know each other better. Before the finale of the competition, there are discussions with the Jurors.

“BEAUTY IN THE NAME OF GOOD”

Beauty pageants in our region are held every year under the auspices of the Mayor of Bielsko Biała. Miss Beskidów pageants  from the beginning are organized in accordance with the idea of “BEAUTY IN THE NAME OF GOOD.” Every year we visit with gifts children in children’s homes, in the Pediatric Hospital in the department of Hematology in Bielsko-Biala, and we support Bielsko Hospice and participate in the WOŚP charity action. Finalists participate in charitable events with great commitment. We pay special attention to presentations of talents and skills such as singing, dancing, horse riding, sporting successes. Miss Talent is always selected during the pageant.

History of Miss Beskidów beauty pageant

Miss Beskidów competitions is organized by Grabowska Models since 1989. Previously, the competition was called Miss Podbeskidzia until 2000. Last year, the 32nd Gala of the Miss Beskidów was held, combined with the 22nd edition of the Mister Beskidów. As every year, the Gala took place at the Bielsko Cultural Centre in Bielsko – Biala. Lucyna Grabowska – Górecka owner of Grabowska Models organizes Miss Beskidów, Miss Beskidów Teenager, Mister Beskidów and Mrs Poland. For the last 10 Sara Karcz- Kanik, co-owner of the agency (her granddaughter) has been helping her with the agency and pageants. Grabowska Models has many successful finalists in domestic and foreign competitions. We will mention only a few of them. What’s new wit Miss Polski 2020 – Anna -Maria Jaromin?

I’ve been keeping very bussy the last couple of months. Staying very active riding horses, and rollerskating was my priority. Ofcourse there was time for work and photoshoots which effects You will see soon.

Miss Podbeskidzia 1992 _ Elżbieta Dziech

29 years have passed since   I stood on the stage at the Bielskie Centrum Kultury as Miss Podbeskidzia 92. To this day, With a smile on my face, I remember these moments and all the kind and cordial people I met at the time. The road, which began on the  stage in Bielsko, took me all the way to distant Japan, where I participated, as the Miss Poland 92, in the Miss International competition.
From those days remained only memories today …
When I’m not teaching English I love to  travel around exotic corners of the world, it’s still my greatest passion. However family is my numer one. I have a wonderful husband Darek,  and  – three wonderful children (Bartek, Magda and Philip). They are my greatest treasure, and the family we create the greatest happiness and satisfaction.”
